It was rainy morning in the West Loop yesterday! But it didn’t stop us from joining other like-minded individuals for a fun-filled day of motivational speakers, entrepreneurs and bloggers. If you haven’t heard of this conference, it’s put on by Go Blog Social. It’s a Midwest based blog and social media conference which is designed to educate, inspire and connect attendees, brands and businesses. Go Blog Social has hosted multiple events in Kansas City and was thrilled to “pop-up” in Chicago for the second year on Saturday, October 31.

Some great tips we learned were how to grow our Instagram followers and how to get out there to work with companies on collaborations and reviews! This was a fun experience and we’d go again, definitely. It was empowering to see these regular, ordinary women, come from the same backgrounds we were in, to become successful businesswomen and bloggers!
We’re hoping to gain some momentum in our writing and content! All we needed was a little motivation and confidence!
